HARDWARE-CONSTRAINED / BLOCKED

Definitive boundaries governed by Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 physical architecture.

  • BLOCKED
    Android 17 / Android 14+ on OnePlus 3T: Kernel 3.18 lacks mandatory eBPF network filtering, 64-bit binder interface, and modern VNDK abstractions. Upgrading base OS on this SoC is physically prohibited without breaking baseband/cellular stability.
  • NOT SUPPORTED
    Android Verified Boot 2.0 (AVB) on OnePlus 3T: 2016 bootloader architecture lacks dedicated vbmeta partition and public key hardware fusing. Locked bootloader re-locking with custom keys is impossible on this device.
