THE CYRONIX STORY

When you purchase a modern smartphone, you receive physical glass and silicon, but software custody remains in the hands of corporations. Every keystroke is evaluated for commercial intent, ambient sensors are silently queried by advertising SDKs, and device life cycles are prematurely terminated by planned software obsolescence.

The smartphone is the most intimate computational node humanity has ever created. It records location coordinates, biometric signatures, and confidential communications. Leaving custody of this device in the hands of monetization algorithms is unacceptable.

Rather than designing an abstract operating system that runs only in virtual machines, Cyronix Dev & Security chose real, battle-tested silicon: the OnePlus 3T. Featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and fast UFS 2.0 storage, this hardware remains exceptionally capable when stripped of manufacturer bloatware.

By building directly on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP / LineageOS 18.1 base) and optimizing Android 11 for this specific chipset, we proved that aging devices can outperform modern budget smartphones when liberated from background surveillance overhead.

Cyronix OS represents a complete ecosystem: an enforcing SELinux Android platform, a standalone Cyronix Recovery OS for rescue autonomy, an authenticated Tailscale Funnel OTA delivery pipeline, and a cyberpunk aesthetic engineered for pure black OLED displays.
